ASUS Zenfone 7 price leaks, could put OnePlus, Samsung to shame (Update)
June 20, 2025
Update: August 08, 2025 (1:22AM ET): Following yesterday’s firstZenfone 7teaser on Twitter, the company’s German handle has provided a better idea of the device’s camera layout.
Although the teaser uses a similar video to the company’s official handle, the German version adds “Flip deine welt,” or “Flip your world” to the fray. While it’s unlikely the phone will be a flip phone in the same vein as the Motorola Razr, the text is likely referring to the camera setup.

Again, this teaser shows no visible notch or punch-hole camera on the device which further suggests ASUS might stick with theZenfone 6‘s nifty flip-around camera array. There’s also the possibility that ASUS could join ZTE by launching a device with anunder-display selfie camera, but that now doesn’t seem at all likely.
Original article: August 05, 2025 (6:24 AM ET): ASUS quietly confirmed that the Zenfone 7 series was launching next week, being a follow-up to the standout that was the Zenfone 6. Now, it looks like we might have a few key details in tow, including pricing.
ReliableWinFuturejournalist Roland Quandt has tweeted that the ASUS Zenfone 7 will come with a Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset, 6GB to 8GB of RAM, 128GB to 256GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery. Check out the tweet below.
Furthermore, the journalist notes that the device will be priced at €499 (~$594) for the 6GB/128GB model. This is in line with the Zenfone 6’s European launch pricing (€499 but $499 in the US), albeit for 64GB of storage in the base model.
Need even more RAM and storage? Then Quandt says the 8GB/256GB variant will retail for €549 (~$654) in Europe. This is cheaper than the 8GB/256GB Zenfone 6 at launch, which would set you back €599.
Here’s hoping the Zenfone 7 maintains the Zenfone 6’s $499 price in the US too, as the old phone was an absolute bargain at launch. In saying so, it’stougher than everfor brands to offer an affordable flagship in 2020, with even the likes of the OnePlus 8starting at $699.
