Best Buy selling Blue Steel LG G3 for $99 on-contract

July 21, 2025

With all thehype(anddisappointment) the mobile world has experienced the past couple of months, it’s easy to forget about products the world wasGagaover just a short while ago. One device in particular has gone from the top of its game to done-and-dusted, at least for those who crave the latest and greatest.

TheLG G3was, at the time of release, the first QHD device that mainstream customers (or at least those outside of China) were able to purchase. With its more reformed, refined OS skin (as compared to the G2 or G Flex), a metallic-esquedesign, laser-asssisted camera, and generally comfortable form factor, it wasclearly a hit, at least as far as LG was concerned. Sure the screen wasn’tasbright as some wanted, and the colors simply can’t compare to the more oversaturated nature of Samsung’s AMOLED panels, but all-in-all, people were pleased.

Around the time of release, LG had indicated there would be several color options available, though nothing specific was mentioned about when and where. It seems those who held out finally have something to pique their interest, as Best Buy is now offering the G3 in a sizzling metallic Blue Steel thatMaury Ballsteinwould no doubt love to represent.

The phone is beingsold at Best Buyfor a reasonable $99.99 on two-year contract with Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon Wireless. Those interested in an even better deal should check Best Buy’s homepage as several older color options are being offered for as low as $29.99.
