Google leaks the Nest Hub Max: 10-inch smart display with camera

July 09, 2025

Last year, Google had to deal with a massive early leak of theGoogle Pixel 3, with multiple prototypessold on the black marketin Europe. Today, though, Google is dealing with a different kind of leak: the leak of the as-yet-unannouncedNest Hub Max.

The leak (first spotted byAndroid Police) originates from the “Connected Home” section of the Google Store. There, you can see the cross section of a model home and click on various details to see how Google and Nest products can make your life easier and more secure.

If you click on theGoogle Home Huboptions littered throughout the house, you’re able to read all about the Nest Hub Max, which seems to be a larger Google Home Hub with a built-in camera.

The descriptions lead us to believe the device will have a 10-inch HD display, stereo speakers, a Nest cam, and have the ability to alert you of motions and sounds in the vicinity of the hub. These are all features that don’t exist on the Google Home Hub.

It’s also very likely the device will have all the capabilities of the Google Home Hub — namely a touch display, precise control over smart home devices, andGoogle Assistantbuilt in.

There’s nothing about price or release date, although it’s possible this product could be announced at Google I/O 2019, which is only about a month away. We’ve reached out to Google for a statement on this matter and will update this article should we hear back.
