Google Pixel 4 XL leak apparently reveals screen details, chipset

Jul 13, 2025

The stream ofGoogle Pixel 4leaks has turned into a fast-flowing river ahead of the October launch window. The latest leak may have just given us a look at screen details and the phone’s chipset.

A picture obtained by91mobilesshows an apparent Google Pixel 4 XL running an app that lists a few hardware specifications. So what should you expect?

The Google Pixel 4 XL front and back renders.

Well, the app lists aSnapdragon 855processor rather than the Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, for one (the clock speeds corroborate this info). This isn’t a big deal, as the Snapdragon 855 Plus is only a marginal improvement over the vanilla version. Heck, our Speed Test G benchmark show that the standard Snapdragon 855still holds an advantageover theGalaxy Note 10‘s newExynos 9825processor.

The app also shows off what appear to be the Pixel 4 XL’s display information, listing a 6.23-inch (19:9) 1440 x 3040 display. This means we could be looking at a slightly smaller display than thePixel 3 XL‘s 6.3-inch 1440 x 2960 panel, albeit with a tweaked aspect ratio. Either way, you can expect a sharp OLED screen.

This latest leak also comes after a series of leaks in the past few days. We’ve seen images and a video purportedly showing aCoral Pixel 4, as well as asupposed TV adfor the new phone. Serial tipster Evan Blass also tweeted apossible October 15 launch eventfor the new phones. We’re betting that this won’t be the last Pixel 4 leak we see before its unveiling.
