HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro renders take us one step closer to HUAWEI’s flagship

June 24, 2025

We’ve seen a few apparent glimpses of theHUAWEI Mate 30 Proin low-quality pictures recently, showing a circular camera housing and a wide display notch. Now, we may have a much better look at the newHuaweiflagship thanks toPricebabaand prolific tipsterOnleaks.

The duo shared apparent renders of the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro, indeed showing a circular camera housing on the back and a wide notch on the front.

Furthermore, the images show four cameras in the rear housing (tipped to be a 40MP main camera, 40MP ultra-wide sensor, 8MP zoom camera, and a3D ToF sensor).

There also appears to be three sensors in the cutout, but it’s unclear whether all three are cameras or if any are related to facial recognition. Hopefully we get aPixel 3-style ultra-wide sensor as a secondary camera.

Otherwise, the renders show a slight chin and forehead with antenna lines on them (presumably for better5Gconnectivity), and what seems to be anIR blasterat the top. We also see a SIM tray, speaker grille andUSB-Cport at the bottom — those holding out for a3.5mm portmight be disappointed then. We don’t see physical volume keys either, but hopefully the alternative is better than theHTC U12 Plus‘s weird capacitive keys.

The sources note that the device measures in at 158.1 x 73.6 x 8.7mm, making it slightly taller, wider, and thicker than the Mate 20 Pro. In fact, the camera hump means the phone is actually 9.7mm thick at this point, according to Onleaks andPricebaba.

Previous rumors suggest the phone will offer aKirin 990chipset with integrated 5G connectivity, and a 4,500mAh battery with 55W charging. But Google hasreportedly confirmedthat the phone won’t come with preinstalled Google services, putting a firm Western launch date in question.

In any event, we’ll have to wait until September 19 to get all the details. What do you want to see on the Mate 30 Pro?
