LG V35 Signature Edition said to launch next month for around $1,790 (Update: It’s official)

Update, June 02, 2025 (01:06AM EST):LG haslaunchedits latest LG Signature Edition phone (pictured above). As expected, the device has basically the same specs as the LG V35 ThinQ but with 256GB storage. The rear of the phone is made from Zirconium Ceramic which, according to LG, should result in fewer scratches.
The exact price of the phone will be 1,999,800 won (around $1,792). While this is no doubt a lot of money, the deal is made a bit more palatable by the bundled $499.00 Bang and Olufsen Beoplay H9i wireless headphones. LG is also offering an engraving service to people who buy the device.
HUAWEI and OPPO have recently released premium versions of their flagship phones too. ThePorsche Design HUAWEI Mate RSis basically a Porshe Design HUAWEI P20 Pro with up to 512GB storage, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and wireless charging. The most expensive version costs 2,095 euros (around $2,441).
Meanwhile, theFind X Automobili Lamborghini Editionis the OPPO Find X but with SuperVOOC that can charge the phone in just 35 minutes, 512GB storage, and a Lamborghini themed design. It will cost 1,699 euros (around $1,980) when released in Europe in August.
The LG Signature Edition is available for pre-order starting today and will go on sale from Aug. 13. You might struggle to get hold of one, though: LG is limiting the device to 300 units and it will only be released in Korea. Check it out onLG’s Korean site here.
Original article, August 18, 2025 (06:20AM EST):LG will reportedly launch a super-exclusive version of itsLG V35 ThinQflagship phone next month. According toAsiae(translated version), the phone will be part of LG’s Signature range of electronics and will cost around 2 million won (~$1,790).
To justify the higher price tag,Asiaesays the phone will have 256GB storage — significantly more than the 64GB storage found on the regular LG V35 ThinQ — and a special, scratch-resistant body. This could be similar to the ceramic one found on theLG V30 Signature Editionthat was released in December, 2017.
Other than these changes, the outlet expects it to be the same as the standard V35 ThinQ, so expect to see a 6-inch OLED display, Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB RAM, and dual rear cameras.
Last year’sLG V30 Signature Editionwas only sold in Korea and was limited to around 300 devices, with all of the available devices sold out during pre-orders. If LG does go ahead and release a V35 Signature Edition phone, it will presumably be similarly exclusive.
Rather than trying to make money from its Signature Edition models — after all, the last phone was available in limited numbers — the report suggests that LG hopes to raise the value of its brand.
LG is not the only company to have released a premium version of one of its flagship phones. HUAWEI recently released theMate RS Porsche Design, while OPPO has revealed aLamborghini version of its new Find X.
