Nokia 5 to go on offline-only sale in India from August 15

HMD Globalhas announced the availability ofNokia 5in India starting August 15. While the three devices – Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 – were first unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2017 earlier this year, they werelaunched in India in June.

The dual SIM smartphone will ship with the latest pure Android Nougat and come with guaranteed monthly security updates. The devices also feature Google Assistant; the company having worked with Google to ensure conversations with the Google Assistant happen seamlessly on Nokia smartphones.

Nokia 5 Specifications

Nokia 5 will be available across top mobile retail stores in the country at a recommended best buy price of INR 12,499 ($195) starting tomorrow. While the smartphone will be available in four distinct colors – Matte Black, Silver, Tempered Blue, and Copper – in coming weeks, at launch, customers will be able to buy only the Matte Black variant.

There are a few launch offers as well. Vodafone consumers will get 5 GB data per month at INR 149 per month for 3 months on their Nokia 5. Customers will also get INR 2500 off on MakeMyTrip.
