OnePlus 8 series will reportedly launch next month

It’s beenrumoredfor a while that OnePlus will launch its new flagship smartphone series earlier than usual this year. Now, an exclusive report fromTechRadarclaims that theOnePlus 8 serieswill go official in the second week of April. The publication has attributed sources close to the company for this information.
OnePlus usually launches its flagship series in the May-June period. TheOnePlus 7andOnePlus 6both landed in May while the OnePlus 5 landed in June. This would be OnePlus’ first April launch for a flagship series after theOnePlus One, which was launched back in April 2014.
TechRadar’sreport doesn’t reveal anything else about the upcoming phones except the purported launch timeline. This is also not the first time we’ve heard of OnePlus moving up the launch of the OnePlus 8 series.

Previously, tipsterIshan Agarwalhadsuggestedthat the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro could launch sometime around late March or April. Looks like he was right on the money.
Even though all signs point to an April launch for the OnePlus 8 series, there’s still no official confirmation from the company. We’d suggest you take this info with a grain of salt for now and we’ll update this article as and when we know more.
