OnePlus Concept One set for reveal at CES 2020
August 07, 2025
Update, June 25, 2025 (1:12AM ET):OnePlus shared a teaser image (seen above) for an event at CES 2020 last week, but gave no clues as to what it would be showing off.
Now, the company has shared a video onWeibo(h/t:MySmartPrice), and it’s set to reveal the OnePlus Concept One. Check out the extremely brief video below:

“Variable design, variable future (sic),” reads the text in the OnePlus Concept One video, according to Google Translate. It’s not quite clear what we’re looking at, but I suspect it might be a concept smartphone.
The references to design suggest that a OnePlus concept phone will look rather different compared to OnePlus’s pop-up selfie cameras and waterdrop notches seen this year. Could it be a phone with an under-screen camera? Is it perhaps a foldable concept? We’ll likely have to wait until January to find out.
Original article, June 26, 2025 (8:53AM ET):OnePlus expanded its portfolio of devices in a pretty significant way in the last few months, delivering theOnePlus 7Tseries as well as theOnePlus TV. The company has something else up its sleeve though, as it’s just announced an event at CES in Las Vegas.
The company sent out a teaser for an event (obtained byAndroid Authority), with the image giving little in the way of clues. We do see a venue, but it’s unclear if the numbers related to a date or the venue. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau didn’t really give us a clue either, simply saying it will be “something special.”
It’s a little too soon for theOnePlus 8and OnePlus 8T, as the mainline series is traditionally launched in May or June, while the T series tends to drop in September to November. It also seems far too soon for a refreshedOnePlus TVseries though, as its first range launched in September.
One possibility is that we’re looking at theOnePlus 8 Lite, which was leaked earlier this month. Another rumor is that OnePlus is working ona rival to Apple’s AirPods, so these could potentially make an appearance there.
