Outlander Season 4 on Netflix is now available, but when is Season 5 dropping?

The Outlander TV show, based on the best-selling novel series, is one of the most popular original TV series on the Starz cable channel. The show dropped its first three seasons on theNetflixstreaming service at first. In January 2021, Season 4 of the series became available, but when will the most recent Season 5 of Outlander start on Netflix? We have the answers.

What is the show about?
The series is based on the best-selling Outlander novels by Diana Gabaldon. The series was developed by Ronald D. Moore, who first came to fame by writing some of the best episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, and later developed the acclaimed reboot of Battlestar Galactica.
The show itself centers on Claire Randall, played by Caitriona Balfe. In the beginning of the first season, we see her just after World War II, married to her husband Frank. They travel to Inverness, Scotland, but while exploring the wilderness, Claire finds some ancient standing stones. She is then somehow taken back in time over 200 years, to 1743. She comes across a group of Scottish Highlanders, and eventually falls in love and marries one of them, Jamie Fraser, played by Sam Heughan.
The series focuses on the couple as they deal with a number of challenges. Claire later becomes pregnant. At the end of season 2, she time travels back to the 20th century where she and Frank raise her daughter Brianna. She goes back in time again to the 18th century to be with Jamie after Frank dies in a car accident. Seasons 4 and 5 deal with Claire and Jamie in their life in North Carolina, just before the American Revolution. The series has already been renewed for a sixth season.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any information on when the current season of the series, which finished airing on Starz in May 2020, will appear on Netflix.
Where can I watch Outlander Season 5?
What about Outlander Season 6 and 7?
First, we can confirm there will be a sixth season of the series. It recently completely filming and is set to launch on Starz sometime in early 2022. The season will be just eight episodes due to delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Furthermore, we can also confirm that season 7 of the show is in the works. No word on when it will drop, but Starz says it will have 16 episodes.
