Samsung Galaxy S7 pre-orders reportedly start February 21, free Gear VR included

At the beginning of FebruarySamsung confirmed what we’d all expected for quite a while: February 21st will be the day that the Samsung Galaxy S7 is officially announced. But when exactly can we expect to be able to place orders for Samsung’s latest and greatest? According to the Netherlands-based Android World, that same day.

Keep in mind that the February 21st pre-order date hasn’t been officially confirmed by Samsung, though it’s not too surprising, since both the Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ had pre-orders start the day after launch. Moving it to the same day is just a logical small step further.
There’s also a few unknowns here, such as if the February 21st pre-order date applies to all regions or just Europe, though we wouldn’t be surprised if that’s a global target. We also have to wonder if the Gear VR is the same version that’s currently sold or if it’s been at all modified for Samsung’s next gen devices. Thankfully, we don’t have much longer to wait until we find out all the juicy details.
