Samsung makes ‘Jennie Red’ S20 Plus official with matching Galaxy Buds Plus

Today is the first day you canpre-order the Samsung Galaxy S20series of smartphones. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to pre-order the newly announcedSamsung Galaxy S20 Plusin Aura Red unless you live in South Korea and use Korea Telecom as your carrier.
We sawleaked images and rendersof the sleek red colorway for the S20 Plus earlier this month. However, we didn’t see that there will be a matching set ofSamsung Galaxy Buds Plus, too. The phone and the earbuds look positively divine together. See for yourself below:
However, the Galaxy Buds Plus are apparently just “red” without the “Aura” aspect. So the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus comes in both Aura Red and Jennie Red (which are the same color) while the Galaxy Buds Plus come in just red. Couldn’t be clearer.
Likely, the Jennie Red moniker will be used exclusively in South Korea where K-pop is (obviously) huge. The Aura Red name will probably be used throughout the rest of the world.
Speaking of the rest of the world, when will other countries see the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus in Aura Red? Samsung is mum on this for now, but it will likely land in at least Europe eventually and possibly the United States. Now you need to decide if it’s worth waiting for the red colorway or to pre-order one of the other colors now. Decisions, decisions.
