UK gamers can pre-order an ASUS ROG Phone starting tomorrow, Nov. 16

While theRazer Phone 2is probably your best bet if you want a phone that pulls double duty as a great gaming device and a great day-to-day device, hardcore gamers who only want the best gaming experience should probably go with theASUS ROG Phone.
While the ASUS ROG Phonelanded in the United States this October, residents across the pond have been out luck. The wait is finally over, though, as the ASUS ROG Phone U.K. launch starts tomorrow, November 16, with pre-orders officially opening for the gaming phone.
If you pre-order the device, shipments will begin on December 14. If you decide to skip the pre-order process, select retailers will have the ASUS ROG Phone for sale on or around that date.
However, skipping the pre-order isn’t advisable, because you’re able to actually save quite a bit of money by pre-ordering. The ASUS ROG Phone will retail in the United Kingdom for 799 pounds (~$1,021) but pre-ordering knocks 100 pounds off the price, bringing it down to 699 pounds (~$893). If you know you want the phone,pre-ordering is a no-brainer.
The ASUS ROG Phone is a beast of a device, featuring a 6-inch AMOLED display, theQualcomm Snapdragon 845, 8GB of RAM, a 4,000mAh battery, dual rear cameras, and dual nano SIM slots. The device features two USB Type-C ports (one on the bottom and one on the side for charging while you play), a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a vapor chamber cooling system.
The device also comes with 128GB of internal storage space. There will be a variant with 512GB of space, but the exact date for that launch wasn’t revealed.
