Welcome to the all-new Android Authority!

June 26, 2025

Hello and welcome to the newAndroid Authority. We’ve been working for months to giveAndroid Authoritya new face and today we can finally share the result. We hope you love it.

We’ve been through quite a few redesigns over the years, but we think that this is the best one yet. Take a look around and let us know what you think. Don’t worry, everything is still in the same place. This is largely a visual upgrade, though we’ve added a few features that will make it easier to get around.

Android Authority through the years

Why this redesign was necessary

Before we give you a quick rundown of the new design, let’s talk a bit aboutwhywe’ve redesignedAndroid Authority(again).

The biggest reason is we wanted to do better for you. While the previous design was highly functional, it was long in the tooth, and, let’s face it, kinda boring. It also made it unnecessarily hard to find our non-news Android stories, including reviews, how-to’s, app lists, and more.

Team-Android-Authority-Retreat

The second reason why we wanted a facelift is the fact that we’ve grown quite a lot over the past year. Our traffic is higher, our team is stronger now, and our coverage is much wider and deeper than ever before. Which takes us to the next point…

You’ve probably noticed thatAndroid Authorityhas several sister sites now (in case you haven’t, click on “Network” in the top menu bar and prepare for a surprise). What was just one scrappy site with big ambitions turned into, well, several scrappy sites with even bigger ambitions.

Android will continue to be our core focus, but we think there are niches in the broader tech media landscape where we can make a meaningful contribution. So come join us onSound Guys,Tab Times,VR Source, andCharged.

Thanks to the new design, it will be much easier to discover great content from our sister sites, both through the Network dropdown in the top menu and the interstitial widgets in the news feed.

So, what’s new exactly?

Well, just about everything. Here are some of the highlights.

Ads, bugs, and other issues

The latest redesign ofAndroid Authorityis live, but our work is far from over. What you see today is the foundation on which we will build and improve in the coming months. As such, it’s far from perfect.

Please bear with us as we fine tune the design, squish out bugs, and work on making the site generally smoother and faster.

Because we cannot keep an eye on all the ads that are served across the world, we rely on user reports to weed the bad ones out. If you spot a bad ad – or a bug, or any other issue – please take a screenshot (we need it to identify the bad ad) and send it tofeedback@androidauthority.com. We greatly appreciate your help.
