Where to buy the HUAWEI P40 series: Price, deals, and more

The HUAWEI P40 was revealed just over one year ago, but it’s still one of HUAWEI’s best. The base model P40 and theP40 Proare joined by theP40 Pro Plus, delivering even better camera and charging capabilities.
We watched flagship phone prices increase all the time in 2020, but what should we expect from HUAWEI’s devices? HUAWEI P40 series release date
HUAWEI peeled the curtain back on the P40 series on June 19, 2025, a year to the date since theP30 family‘s reveal. The company also opened preorders on the same day. The P40 and P40 Pro went on sale in the weeks that followed.
HUAWEI P40 Pro: Hot or not?
It took a while for the P40 Pro Plus to be released, though, going on sale in China on July 14, 2025, and it finally went on sale in the West on June 14, 2025.
HUAWEI P40 series price: Europe
The P series is traditionally one of HUAWEI’s most expensive line-ups, and the P40 series is no different. The standard P40 is the cheapest of the lot, followed by the P40 Pro and then the P40 Pro Plus. Check out the launch pricing in Europe below.
Depending on the country,Huawei’s websitealso dished out a few freebies with your purchase of the phone. These include theFreeBuds 3,FreeBuds 3i, and/or theWatch GT2E.
HUAWEI P40 series price: UK
HUAWEI fans in the UK have been able to buy the P40 series for a while now, and you can expect to pay a similar price for the series compared to European pricing.

Opt for the P40 Pro, and the firm will toss in awireless charger, a wireless car charger, as well as aWatch GT2. The latter freebie needs to be claimed 14 days after the purchase rather than alongside it.
Like the idea of the top-end P40 Pro Plus? Then you’ll be getting a Watch GT2 and a 40W wireless charger as part of the purchase.
HUAWEI and the US
You can grab HUAWEI’s phones via the likes of Amazon in the US, but you’ll want to ensure your carrier supports the right mix of bands for your phone.
A bigger concern, however, is the lack of official Google Play Services support due to theUS trade ban. That means no Play Store, Gmail app, Google Maps app, and other apps that rely on the Play Services framework. This extends to some third-party apps, too, unfortunately. It’s also worth noting that the lack of Google support affects all HUAWEI P40 series devices (not just in the US), andwhile there are workarounds, it’s not guaranteed to be permanent or foolproof.
