Xiaomi Mi QLED TV launches with 75-inch 120Hz panel and hefty price

Joining itsMi 11X serieslaunch, Xiaomi today announced the availability of its new Mi QLED TV in India.
The range-topping 75-inch 4K display sports quantum dot tech with local dimming, 120Hz refresh rate with MEMC, and support for a number ofHDR codecsincluding Dolby Vision. For audio lovers, a 30W six-speaker setup also features, but there’s also eARC support if you do use a sound bar.
Buyers also get smart features powered by a quad-core Arm Cortex-A55 CPU and a Mali G52 MP2 GPU joined by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

In terms of software, the Mi QLED TV also packs PatchWall based onAndroid TV 10with built-in Chromecast and a far-field mic for Assistant commands. This microphone’s built into the TV, so there’s no longer a need to whisper to your remote. Xiaomi notes that a future update will bring Amazon Alexa support, too.
As for I/O, the Mi QLED TV has three HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB ports, an Ethernet port, and a pair of single optical and 3.5mm output jacks. There’s also Bluetooth 5.0 and 2×2 MIMO Wi-Fi 5 support for wire cutters.
The Xiaomi Mi QLED 75 TV goes on sale in India from April 27 priced at Rs 1,19,999 (~$1,599). It’s considerably more expensive than Xiaomi’s last QLED display, but that model was some 20 inches smaller from corner to corner.
