Xiaomi sells 1 million Redmi Note 4s in just 45 days in India

It looks like business is good for Xiaomi in India. In January, the company announced that itsrevenue in 2016 exceeded$1 billion in the country. Now, the Chinese manufacturer has another reason to celebrate.

It recently announced that it sold one millionRedmi Note 4smartphones in India in the 45 days since it launched. This means that it sold one unit every four seconds. Additionally, Xiaomi claims that the Redmi Note 4 is currently the fastest device to sell one million units in India.

Xiaomi’s smartphones are quite popular among Indian consumers, mainly because of the great price-performance ratio they offer. During the Redmi Note 4 flash sale, Xiaomi sold250,000 devices in just 10 minutes.
