What about the rest of the world? When it comes to theOnePlus 10 Pro, the rest of the world might see something a little different.

According to a company representative speaking withSlashGear, the 10 Pro may have “slight changes in select specs depending on regional availability.” The representative said these potential changes would be announced alongside the global launches, which will happen at some point this year.

OnePlus 10 Pro: A little different?

Of course, we don’t expect the OnePlus 10 Pro to look much different when it lands in various countries. The new camera module, Volcanic Black and Emerald Forest colorways, and various design elements will probably carry over to most other markets. Inside, though, things could be slightly different.

For one thing, OnePlus isn’t being clear with us on whether or not the phone hasan IP rating. TheOnePlus 9 ProandOnePlus 8 Proboth had IP68 ratings, but the 10 Pro is a mystery. It’s possible the phone isn’t IP-certified in China but would be in other areas. RAM/storage configurations could also be different.

This is nothing we haven’t seen from OnePlus before. The company often releases unique RAM/storage configurations in India, for example. Here in the United States, the T-Mobile variant of the OnePlus 8T had an IP rating, but the unlocked variant didn’t.

Regardless, we should learn more about what these potential changes could be soon. For now, don’t assume the OnePlus 10 Pro in China is the same as the one you’re eventually going to get.
